Teleport

Teleport is a company developing cloud-based software for automating operations that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2015 by Alexander Klizhentas, Ev Kontsevoy, and Taylor Wakefield. Gravitational is used by Nasdaq, Fireeye, Ticketmaster, Samsung, Telefonica, MuleSoft, Snowflake, McAfee, Sumo Logic, Threat Stack, Splunk, Auth0, HomeAway, and A+E Networks.

Teleport is a security and identification product offered by Teleport to provide best practices for SSH and Kubernetes access, and meet compliance requirements. It allows users to isolate critical business infrastructure and enforce 2FA requirements for SSH and Kubernetes use, while providing role-based access controls for short lived certificates and identity management. Teleport also logs all events and records session activities for auditing user activity.

Teleport offers an open-source product called Gravity to customers seeking to run cloud-native applications in regulated, restricted, and remote environments while meeting security, access, and compliance requirements. Gravity is capable of offering users support for compliance requirements such as Kubernetes, FedRAMP, PCI Security Standards Council, HIPAA, and AICPA/SOC.

Teleconsole is a free open-source product offered by Teleport that allows users to share their terminal sessions with others. Terminal sessions are shared through SSH, or using browsers over HTTPS. Teleconsole also allows users to forward local TCP ports, invite owners of specific public SSH keys, and create private proxy servers.
