New Relic is a San Francisco-based company that has developed a platform to give insights about software to professionals such as engineers, developers, operations, and management. The intended goal of the product is to aid those professionals with identifying software issues and solving them in order to streamline the process of improving a company's software. It can be used for developing and updating mobile applications.

Product

The company's product is called "New Relic One" and allows for its client to gain detailed understanding of their own software. It s an open platform, enabling the client to gain access to data from any source to create graphs or visuals to better understand their software and how it is functioning. The platform also alerts the client to software malfunctions so that they can assign a professional to fix it. Using Machine Learning, New Relic One learns about the clients preferences based off of past actions and creates alerts accordingly. Clients also have access to other applications on the platform that are intended to be used as tools.
