Plant-based Ingredients made by Roquette are supplied to companies in the following industries: food and beverage, supplement, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, livestock feed, bio-industry, chemicals, paper, and performance materials. Roquette has a commercial presence in over 100 countries, over 8000 employees, and averages the creation of about 40 patents annually.

Dominique and Germain Roquette founded Roquette in 1933, when they opened their first potato starch plant in Lestrem, Nord-Pas-De-Calais, France. The company is now headquartered in Lestrem, France, and has 20 production sites around the world processing potato (1933), corn (1946), wheat starch (1986), and peas (2005).
