Headout offers experiences and travel activities in 15 major cities around the world including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Dubai, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and Amsterdam.In 2015, Headout had raised a $1.8 million seed round from Version One Ventures, 500 Startups, Nexus Venture Partners and Arena Ventures. In 2018, Headout raised $10 million, bringing the total funding to $12 million. This recent investment was made by Nexus Venture Partners and Version One Ventures.

Founded in 2015, Headout serves as a mobile marketplace that aggregates third-party activities, tours and tickets for tourists and locals. Local tour operators can partner and list their activities and experiences on headout. These experiences can be booked from the Headout website or through iOS and Android apps.The company has four major competitors in this market, Klook, TripAdvisor-owned Viator, Get Your Guide and Airbnb’s Experiences feature.
