In May 2023, Waymo announced a partnership with ride-sharing app Uber. Users of the Uber app can utilize Waymo's autonomous vehicles for both ride-sharing services (Uber) and food-delivery services (Uber Eats). The partnership is launching exclusively in Phoenix, Arizona, but will most likely expand to other major cities.
