Viberate (cryptocurrency)

Viberate is a blockchain-based research and analytics platform and cryptocurrency designed for the music industry. The company was co-founded in 2015 by CEO Matej Gregorčič, CBDO Vasja Veber, Celebrity Ambassador and DJ Uroš Umek, and Head of Investor Relations Dejan Roljič. Other team members include Chief Product Officer Miha Prebil and CTO Boštjan Žakelj. Viberate has offices in London, United Kingdom; Ljubljana, Slovenia; and Sacramento, CA, United States.

Viberate offers a research and analytics platform for musical artists and fans. With Viberate, musical artists and fans can view their engagement, streaming numbers and downloads across multiple streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook. The platform also offers musical charts and insights, as well as trends and actionable KPIs for musicians. Viberate also allows users to book artists for performances through the platform through an escrow system. Viberate is available to artists as either a free Lite option, which does not include analytics but allows for basic search and access to artist overviews, a monthly Premium paid subscription that includes analytics as well as detailed reports, and an Enterprise level for multiple Premium accounts with 24/7 support.

Viberate's token, also called Viberate (VIB), operates on the Ethereum platform. it has a current supply of 200,000,000 with 196,825,000 in circulation. Viberate coin is currently being traded on twelve active markets.

Viberate has raised $15.5 million in funding since 2016. A majority of the company's funding came from $11 million in crowdfunding that was raised in 2017. Viberate most recently closed a $3.5 million series A round on January 31, 2022.
