Replicated is a California-based company that has developed solutions for software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies to ship an on-premises version of their product behind a corporate firewall rather than delivered remotely on the cloud.Companies that use Replicated include Sysdig, CircleCI, Jama Software, Readme.io, Waffle.io, and Plot.ly.

The company's product enables clients to deploy their application into any environment such as bare metal, GovCloud, VPC, Vsphere, or an existing Kubernetes cluster. Replicated embeds Kubernetes with its clients application for customers who don't have a cluster, and provides Kubernetes native tools for installing into existing clusters.Tools included with the product are Kubernetes-native versions of release channels, customer license management, automated troubleshooting, and an end-customer administration experience. It also has an administration console, Kotsadm, which is an open source project that integrates with the Replicated Vendor console and can be utilized for automated operations.
