OurCrowd

OurCrowd is a global equity crowdfunding platform that allows accredited investors to invest in start-ups and early-stage companies, primarily in the technology industry. The company was founded in February 2013 by Jonathan Medved, who also serves as the CEO. OurCrowd is headquartered in Jerusalem and has branches in cities worldwide, including New York City, San Diego, Toronto, Sydney, and Tel Aviv. At of September 2022, OurCrowd has over 215,000 members and has invested in 350 companies. OurCrowd reached $2 billion in committed funds in November 2022. In 2021, OurCrowd was named Israel's most active venture capital investor for the ninth year in a row.

OurCrowd has invested in over 370 companies, including Mermade Seafoods, Workspot, Spectrum Labs, Sufresca, Zippin, Cordio Medical, TechAviv, People.ai, MasterClass, Argus Cyber Security, Zoomcar, Replay Technologies, Syqe, Appdome, Tubi, DouxMatok, and Beyond Meat. Over half of the companies in OurCrowd's portfolio are based in Israel, and one third are based in the United States. OurCrowd's team of professionals reviews thousands of companies per year and does due diligence on them before deciding on a select few to invest in. OurCrowd's investments are also opened to its pool of accredited investors. OurCrowd allows accredited investors to invest in major companies with as little as $10,000. Venture capital firms often require minimum investments of millions of dollars.
