Kosmos (microservices management company)

Kosmos is an infrastructure and management platform, offering microservice integration, production insight, and event feed services.

Overview

Kosmos is a microservice infrastructure and management platform, offering a UI layer that displays congregated production insights, event feed and documentation services. Kevin Unkrich and Ivan Porollo founded the company in July 2020 and currently serve as CEO and CTO.

Kosmos participated in the Y Combinator S20 batch, which took place from June through September 2020.

Kosmos integrates multiple microservice applications, including but not limited to GitHub, GitLab, Kubernetes. The platform pulls events from these third-party services and congregates them into a single control center, allowing runbooks, documentation, dependencies and service owners to be monitored in a single location. The service functions as a user interface layer to enable production-readiness auditing, development organization, incident resolution, and event feeds through a centralized catalog.
