Envoy is a company offering an enterprise workplace visitor management software platform that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2013 by Larry Gadea. The Envoy platform allows enterprises the ability to securely sign-in guests, manage deliveries, and organize meeting room bookings.
Envoy offers integration with other platforms offering notifications, directory services, file storage, sales and marketing, wi-fi, building security, and the ability to create custom integrations through the Envoy API, IFTTT, and Zapier.
On December 2, 2013 Envoy announced raising $1.2 million in seed funding from Yun-Fang Juan, Yishan Wong, Tammy H. Nam, Razmig Hovaghimian, Kent Liu, Jeremy Stoppelman, Javier Olivan, Harjeet Tagger, Garry Tan, and Bobby Goodlatte.
On June 23, 2015 Envoy announced raising $15 million in series A funding from Andreessen Horowitz. The founder of Envoy, Larry Gadea, made the following statement following his company's series A round regarding his plans to develop the Envoy enterprise visitor management platform:
We want to be the smart office central hub for all these things that used to require manual labor.
On October 23, 2018 Envoy announced raising $43 million in series B funding from Menlo Ventures (lead investor), Initialized Capital, and Andreessen Horowitz.
