Aarna Networks is a developer of 5G and edge computing automation software. The company was co-founded in 2018 by CEO Amar Kapadia and senior vice president Sriram Rupanagunta, and is a subsidiary of Aarna Networks India Pvt Ltd. Aarna Networks has a US office in San Jose, California and an office in Koramangala, Bangalore, India.
Aarna Networks' open-source software platform, called the Aarna Networks Multi Cluster Orchestration Platform (AMCOP), allows for orchestration, lifecycle management, and automation of 5G network services and edge computing applications. AMCOP is vendor neutral and is compatible with many Kubernetes cloud/edge environments, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Red Hat and Azure. Additionally, AMCOP is cloud native and provides complete support of cloud native technologies, as well as support for the CNCF. The platform also supports a variety of 5G technologies, such as 5G Core and 5G RAN orchestration, network slicing, analytics and more. AMCOP can run on a minimum of 16 vCPUs and 32 GB of memory.
Aarna Networks has raised a total of $3.5 million in funding over two rounds since 2020. Most recently, Aarna Networks closed a $2.8 million seed round on December 21, 2021. The round was led by SVQUAD and included participation from Arka Venture Labs, Inventus Capital, and Riso Capital.
