Talespin (company)

Talespin is a company that creates enterprise XR - as in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality - workforce transformation solutions. The company was founded in 2015 by Kyle Jackson and Stephen Fromkin in Culver City, California.

The proprietary virtual reality technology, among other XR technologies that Talespin has developed, is utilized to create learning and training applications for workplace environments. These training sessions help to improve employee's soft skills (i.e. interactions with management, co-workers, and customers) by providing realistic simulations. The virtual reality training sessions are powered by interactive artificial intelligence that are capable of speech recognition and natural language processing.

The VR can track an employee's gaze, body movement, and also facial expressions through VR headsets and controllers. The VR responds as an emotive person, and teaches skills such as professional communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation in daily situations, to particular instances such as being fired, or firing someone.
