The PHW Group is a conglomerate conducting business in the production and marketing of poultry products, such as chicken, turkey, and duck. It also has businesses working in the sectors of animal nutrition & animal health and human nutrition and healthcare. Since 2018, the company has also been in the business of distributing protein alternatives, such as Beyond Meat, a company with which it has a partnership to distribute alternative protein products in Germany.
The company has three main areas of business: poultry distribution, alternative sources of protein, and healthcare. It operates its businesses through subsidiaries, such as the ones listed below. Its healthcare business focuses on research and development of pharmaceutical products.
PHW also invests in companies, specifically those manufacturing alternative protein products. Such companies include Good Catch, SuperMeat, nd Redefine Meat. It has made more than €100 million in investments in companies.
