Flike

Flike is building machine learning (ML)-powered recommender APIs to help engineers personalize discovery pages, feeds, recommended content, customer communication, and more. Flike's technology allows companies to build and optimize their end-users' discovery experience, resulting in significantly enhanced online engagement, increased conversion rates, and enriched lifetime value that generates profitable growth.

Flike was founded in 2021 in San Francisco by its CEO Tobias Muller and Yannick Muller.

The company is backed by Y Combinator and a strong set of executives from Google, GitHub, Airtable, Retool, Personio, Pitch, and Zapier.

Flike has partnered with MUX. Flike integrates with Mux data to obtain video interaction data in real time. Flike leverages Mux Video to transcode and stream videos, Mux Player to provide an engaging “lean back” viewing experience, and Mux Data’s streaming exports of video views to inform the recommendations algorithm to surface the most engaging content for each viewer.

In addition to integrating with MUX, Flike is also working on or has already deployed integrations with Segment, Amplitude, Google Analytics, MixPanel, MoEngage, Shopify, and BigQuery. These integrations allow Flike to receive real-time user clickstream data.
