Epic Games is a game company that develops Fortnite founded in 1991 by Tim Sweeney.

In October 2018, Epic Games announced a $1.25 billion round at $15 billion valuation from KKR, Iconiq Capital, Smash Ventures, Vulcan Capital, Kleiner Perkins and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
