AImotive

AImotive is an autonomous vehicle technology start-up company. It is a global provider of camera-first, artificial intelligence powered self-driving technology.

It was formerly AdasWorks. The company changed its name to highlight the capabilities it brings to autonomous driving. Aimotive provides affordable, accessible self-driving solution capable of powering L5 vehicles safely in any condition.

The company uses cameras as primary sensors. The cameras mimic the visual capabilities of human drivers. This approach results in technology that can readily scale and make autonomous driving possible around the world.

AImotive's autonomous driving system has three components:

1. aiDrive, an autonomous driving software suite that accommodates different driving cultures and climates

2. aiSim, a photo-realistic simulator that recreates diverse real-life scenarios to develop system

3. aiWare, a neural network accelerator for computer vision

Laszlo Kishonti is the founder and the CEO of AImotive. It was founded in Budapest, Hungary in 2015. The company also opened offices in Mountain View, California, USA, Helsinki, Finland and Tokyo, Japan.
