Overview

Trivitron Healthcare is an India-based medical technology company. It was founded in 1997 and has more than 1,500 employees. Products are manufactured and distributed from the company to more than 180 countries worldwide. The products go to medical facilities such as hospitals, individual healthcare providers, independent clinics and laboratories, extended care facilities, and renal care centers.

Monkeypox

In the spring of 2022, a monkeypox outbreak began spreading worldwide. By July of the same year, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a world health emergency. Trivitron Healthcare has developed real time PCR-based testing kit for monkeypox. It is a four-color fluorescence-based kit that aids healthcare providers in differentiating smallpox and monkeypox in a single reaction format using one tube. It is stated that the test can give results within approximately one hour.
