Quizlet is a San Francisco-based company that has created technology that can be used to study academic subjects through digital flashcards and games. Its stated mission is to "help students practice and master whatever they're learning".

The company's product is available via web browser or mobile application for both Android and iOS systems. Users can utilize the product to create customized study sets. The study sets are digital flashcards where users can put a word or topic on one side and its definition on the other, including visuals if desired. To flip the flashcard, the user can simply click on it to reveal the topic's definition.

Users can upload and share their study sets on the Quizlet platform. The study sets are classified under subject topics, such as arts and humanities, mathematics, languages, science, social science, and more.

Other features on the platform include Learn, which keeps track of what the user has learned and what needs to be improved and games, such as scatter, in which the user needs to match the vocabulary word to a definition.

Quizlet has five main investors: Union Square Ventures, Altos Ventures, Icon Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, and Owl Ventures. It has raised of $32 million over the course of two funding rounds.
