Munchery

Munchery was a pre-made meal delivery company based in San Francisco, California, founded in April 2011. A core focus of Munchery's original business plan was to deliver unique recipes on their menus and to improve those recipes based on customer feedbacks. The company closed down its operations on January 21, 2019. Since their closure, Munchery has re-opened. The company rebuilt their business model to a subscription-based recipe site, with recipes developed by Munchery's culinary team.

However, different from their original model where they focused on unique recipes and ingredients, the new subscription-based recipe site is focused on bringing meals users can make at home and to help their users eat better at home. And, as well as recipes, Munchery offers articles, video tutorials, demonstrations, a glossary of cooking terminology, and email offers from food-related and local businesses.
