In July 2023, the need for Hikma injectable products surged as one of Pfizer's injectable manufacturing plants, in North Carolina, was severely damaged by a tornado. The site that was hit is one of the largest sterile injectable facilities in the world, and Hikma is one of the few manufacturers that could increase its production load to make up for the loss of products from Pfizer.

Hikma offers oral and non-injectable generic pharmaceutical products for the United States market. It manufactures generic products in various forms, such as oral pills, liquids, and nasal sprays. These products are manufactured at a plant that is located in Columbus, Ohio.
