The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) is an organization based in Chicago, United States. Established on May 4, 1913, it operates within the industries of association football and sport. The USSF is an active company and serves as the governing body for soccer in the United States.
Officially known as the United States Soccer Federation, USSF maintains two parent organizations, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and the North American Football Union. The company has a strategic partnership with FinTech Sandbox.
As the owner of several soccer teams, the USSF oversees the United States men's national soccer team and the United States women's national soccer team. It also manages various national under-23, under-20, under-18, and under-17 soccer teams for both men and women. Other entities under the USSF's ownership include the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, the 2012 United States women's national soccer team, and the William W. Kimball House. The organization is also a subsidiary to the United States men's national soccer team.
