The artificial intelligence uses machine learning and natural language processing to examine and read through large amounts of text. The platform is capable of fixing disorganized texts, PDFs, and even handwriting, and does so through linear neural models. After sifting through the thousands of texts, the artificial intelligence processes the text to make it easier to read.

Tolstoy works with NASA to provide a navigable data set. NASA has a repository of over 50,000 scientific papers that are categorized in twelve different categories. The platform that Tolstoy offers is able to assign labels to these papers at 85% accuracy in less than one minute. Tolstoy offers fifteen different models to users, custom support is available, step-by-step instructions, and aims to save companies time and resources.
