SiteWorks was established in Chandler, Arizona in 2004. The company initially consisted of its three founders, Chris Malham, Rob Spoor and Don McIntyre, and grew to employ over 220 persons by 2018.
The Chandler, Arizona, headquarters was originally based in Chris Malham’s two-bedroom apartment. The company’s assets at that time consisted of a pick-up truck and a push lawnmower.
Using the profits from their business, SiteWorks relocated to its new headquarters located in Tempe, Arizona in early 2005. By December 2006, SiteWorks successfully had completed $16 million in contracts. On December 1, 2014, the exact date of the 10 year anniversary of the company's founding, SiteWorks purchased its own corporate facility, located in Chandler, Arizona.
The SiteWorks brand is nationally recognized as a leading sportsfield contractor, constructing both natural and synthetic turf playing surfaces for professional, collegiate, secondary-level and municipal athletic complexes. The SiteWorks has completed projects for Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland A’s, San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox, Phoenix Rising FC, Arizona State University and University of Arizona.
Since 2004, the firm has added three additional companies: SiteWorks Landscape Maintenance, Inc. (Est. 2010), LandWorks, LLC (Est. 2015) and DroneWorks, LLC (Est. 2017).
This is a landscape maintenance and tree care contractor that services a multitude of venues within the private sector. The clients are predominantly destination resorts and hotels, tribal gaming casinos, commercial property management companies, H.O.A. managers, public utilities, facility managers, educational institutions and corporate campuses.
