Sabai Ecoverse is a mobile multiplayer online simulator in which players may buy, rent, build, upgrade, and monetize the resort infrastructure and its staff in strategic, deep, and diverse solo and social cycles of activity based on blockchain tokenomics, tourist flow management tools, and game resources. The company behind the game was founded in 2021 and has headquarters in Phuket, Thailand.
What is Sabai?
Sabai Ecoverse has various features, including a marketplace, NFT collections, and its own cryptocurrency token, and games are in development for this metaverse. The company states it is a play-to-earn online simulator that has potential for real-life earnings.
The token that is used in Sabai Ecoverse is called SABAI, and it is set to be available on the Ethereum and Polygon networks in the third quarter of 2022 . Users can sign up by connecting their MetaMask wallets and obtaining SABAI coins. With those coins, users can buy land, which has varying prices, just like in real life. Land close to the water or more bustling areas will cost more. Upon acquisition of the land, users can earn more SABAI coins by investing in building resorts and all the details that come along with resorts, such as restaurants and staff. Once the resort is established, virtual tourists can pay to use the resort or rent the land.
In April 2022, the company announced that a portion of every SABAI coin sold will be put towards humanitarian aid and other urgent initiatives to assist Ukraine and its citizens due to the crisis being caused by the invasion from Russia. The company states it will also encourage users to donate their own cryptocurrency to Ukrainian causes by offering rewards in SABAI coin.
The first NFT collection for Sabai Ecoverse was launched on April 11, 2022. There were 1,850 NFTs that fall under the categories of landowner, resort, employee, and incentives. Each NFT is categorized in one of three tiers; tier 1 NFTs are the most valuable to the building and development of a resort and thus are the most expensive.
The company behind Sabai Ecoverse has partnered with real-life real estate companies VillaCarte and Layan
Green Park. Together, the group is developing real estate in Thailand and through the Sabai Ecoverse marketplace, users can buy real estate in Thailand using SABAI coins after they are launched.
