Porter Road

Porter Road is a online butcher and subscription service headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 2017 by two Nashville chefs, James Peisker and Chris Carter. The two former chefs originally started Porter Road in a brick and mortar shop in Nashville in 2011 to fill what they saw as a need for access to high quality butcher cuts in the Nashville food market. In 2017, they started to sell pasture-rasied antibiotic and hormones free , non-GMO beef, pork, lamb, and chicken sourced from farms in Tennesee and Kentucky across the United States through their online platform. The platform offers individual cuts of meat for purchase as well as a subscription service.

The company partners with local farms that grow livestock and process the meat at their own facility in Kentucky.
