Ozon is an online marketplace and logistics network company in Russia. Its logistics footprint and marketplace platform enable entrepreneurs to sell their products in Russia and offer customers different products in multiple categories. Is extensive fulfillment and delivery network is connected with the country's e-commerce companies, and its delivery options include couriers, pick-up points, and parcel lockers.

Ozon also operates an online booking service called Ozon Travel, a financial services team called Ozon Fintech, and Ozon Express online grocery delivery. Ozon has an in-house tech lab that develops its IT system, warehouse management system, and new products and services.

Ozon is a marketplace in Russia offering products and services such as clothes and shoes, electronics, home appliances, baby products, food, games, toys, antiques, stationery, books, home and garden products, over-the-counter medicines, airline and train tickets, and hotel booking.

The Ozon app allows users to buy different products in the online catalog with their smartphone. There is an option to pay with the Ozon Card. Users can select desired products for order or put the ones they like in Favorites. The application saves their wishlist, and they can return to buy the products later. On the platform, buyers can leave and read reviews about products.

In addition, users can book air, railway tickets, and hotels on Ozon. Its support service can help users resolve issues, return or reissue tickets, review baggage information, correct passenger data, and cancel or change hotel reservations.

In the third quarter of 2022, the company's assortment reached around 150 million products across about twenty product categories, which is up from 46 million products for the same period in 2021.

Ozon has an in-house tech lab called Ozon Tech, which develops its IT platform, warehouse management system, and products and services. Ozon Tech automates warehouse management and order tracking to support its e-commerce infrastructure, which handles about 620,000 orders daily and about 2.7 million products delivered to its warehouses per day.

Ozon expanded its logistics infrastructure in 2020 and began offering next-day delivery to certain places. The company offers delivery throughout Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, and other Russian cities and abroad. The network spans from Kaliningrad in the West to the Russian Far East. The logistics network in Russia possesses about 1.2 million square meters (sqm) of fulfillment, sorting center, and dark storage space. They also have 17 high-tech fulfillment hubs and about 95 sorting centers in Russia and the CIS. Options for delivery include courier, contactless door delivery, and customer pickup at Ozon-branded pickup points and parcel lockers. When ordering at a post office or a point of issue, there is no need for delivery.

Ozon has about 180,000 marketplace sellers, most of whom are small- and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). Ozon's seller offering includes a rewards system; a variety of training, analytics, and advertising tools; and flexible payment and delivery options. The sellers account for about 78 percent of sales turnover on Ozon by Gross Merchandise Value increased from 1 percent in 2018, when Ozon started its transition to a marketplace model. The number of international sellers passed 12,000 in the third quarter of 2022 and included 24 million products in the Ozon assortment.

Ozon is creating a system of extra services for marketplace customers and sellers, encompassing fintech products, express delivery, and travel booking.

Ozon Fintech involves a team of financial and IT specialists who design and create fintech products and services complementing their e-commerce business. Ozon Bank is the company's integrated bank with a universal banking license, offering different financial services for marketplace customers and sellers.

They include the Ozon Card banking card and the Ozon Installment deferred payment plan for customers. They also have seller services such as Ozon Credit, a loan or credit securement platform, plus Ozon Factoring, a service that allows sellers to get money transfers.

Ozon Fresh, formerly referred to as Ozon Express, is an express delivery service for perishable products, groceries, and everyday items. It is available in nine cities in Russia. Ozon Fresh offers delivery on an assortment of about 25,000 products. The Ozon Fresh private label possesses 224 products in the food and non-food categories.

This is an online travel platform. It allows users to book airfare, train tickets, and hotel reservations and gain access to other travel services on the Ozon marketplace. Ozon Travel provides services for business customers, such as flexible payment options and electronic documentation flow, including products for small and medium businesses plus their employees.
