Neutrino is a company that has developed proprietary technologies for monitoring, analyzing, and tracking cryptocurrency flows across multiple blockchains.
Neutrino provides a solution for law enforcement called XFlow nSpect, which provides advanced, unique features to aid in criminal investigations and intelligence gathering. XFlow nSpect can help track funds that are stolen or otherwise associated with criminal activity, as well as investigate ransomware and analyze darknet markets to identify bad actors and to spot suspicious behaviours.
Additionally, Neutrino has a solution for financial service providers called XFlow nSight, which includes special features to support compliance procedures such as Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) by setting up customized "red flags" that involve checking the origins of incoming funds and checking for suspicious spending behaviors, among other tools.
The cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase officially acquired Neutrino on February 19th, 2019. In their public press release Coinbase stated: "By analyzing data on public blockchains, Neutrino will help us prevent theft of funds from peoples' accounts, investigate ransomware attacks, and identify bad actors.
