Neo (venture capital fund)

Neo is a communal venture capital fund and startup mentorship community based in San Francisco and founded in 2017 by Ali Partovi. Partovi also serves as the CEO.

Neo's communal fund is made up of over one hundred investors, including CEOs, CTOs, and founders of companies like Amazon, Airbnb, Affirm, Dropbox, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Quora, and Stripe. Neo does not limit its investments by industry, but invests in "ambitious teams with strong technical leadership." Approximately half of its investments go to women or minority-led businesses. Neo takes small stakes in businesses; it offers $125,000 for 2.5% worth of stake in the company and $500,000 that also converts to equity, for no more than 2.5% worth of the company.

Neo has raised two funds in the amounts of $80 million and $150 million. Companies the fund has invested in include Ramp, Kalshi, Token, Vanta, Beacon, and Flairr.
