NekoCore is a collection of 9,999 MechaCats NFTs designed by Ukiyo-e Heroes creator Jed Henry.The cats are minted from over 350 traits, such as color, weapon, and jewels. They are made on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection was minted on March 18, 2022, followed by a free mint in April 2022.There are monthly tournaments scheduled to take place throughout all of 2022.

The game's story takes place on Earth in the year 9999. By this time, cats are the dominant creature on the planet, and Earth is ruled by the Cat King Tetsurō. To celebrate the Decamillennium, the king is throwing a tournament of head-to-head combat.

This is where holders of NekoCore Mekas NFTs can utilize their assets to go to battle. The rewards for winning the battle are earning Bronze, Silver, or Gold NekoCore NFTs. The battles start with the MechaCats in groups of five and eventually become individual battles. The NFT medals can only be obtained through battles and cannot be bought.
