Mango is a Europe-based fashion company founded by brothers Isak Andic and Nahman Andic in 1984. Before the international expansion of the company, its inaugural store was launched in Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia. Mango's headquarters are in Spain, with a presence in about one hundred countries worldwide.
Mango possesses two sub-brands called Violeta and Homini Emerito. Violeta is mainly online and in some stores and has its own collection. Homini Emerito, or H:E, is the men’s line from Mango, offering classic and casual styles.
About 40 percent of existing Mango stores are owned by Mango, while 60 percent are run by franchisees. All the company's warehouses and offices are located within Barcelona. Apart from clothing, Mango also makes accessories, shoes, homegoods, jewelry, and homewares. Its holding company is Punta Na SA, and it is registered as a real estate company from Barcelona.
In 2023, Mango developed a conversational generative artificial intelligence tool named Lisa to design clothing, support customer service, and identify consumer trends.
