Kano is a British technology company headquartered in London that produces do it yourself (DIY) computer kits and software. Kano was founded in January 2013 by Alex Klein, his cousin, Saul Klein, and Yonatan Raz-Fridman. Alex Klein currently serves as the company's chief executive officer (CEO).
In 2018, Kano partnered with Warner Bros. to release an electronic Harry Potter wand that teaches children how to code. In 2019, the company partnered with Microsoft to release the Kano PC, a transparent and modular laptop and tablet which runs Windows 10 and Kano's software suite. In April 2019, Kano announced it had received a £14 million funding package from HSBC, which the company planned to employ for expansion in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
