Insight is a developer of an educational program offering post-doctoral training fellowship programs. The company's program is designed to educate candidates on industry-specific skills needed to work in the field of big data.
Insight is funded by Y Combinator and SV Angel with data science and engineering mentors participating from over a dozen companies including: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Square, Apple, Airbnb, Microsoft, Netflix, and many others. Insight was founded in 2012 by Jake Klamka as a pivot from Noteleaf during its participation in the YC W11 cohort of Y Combinator.
Insight's seven week training programs include fellowships in data science, data product management, data engineering, DevOps, health data science, decentralized consensus for blockchain engineering and analysis, artificial intelligence and security and privacy engineering.
