Fyber was founded as SponsorPay in 2009 and was a global advertising technology company. It specialized in developing advertisement monetization solutions for mobile games and applications. The company was listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as Fyber N.V. after it rebranded in 2014. At one point, Fyber had 180 programmatic demand partners and reached more than 650 million monthly users with its monetizing solutions.
In March 2021, Fyber was bought by Digital Turbine for a reported $600 million and is now part of that company's ecosystem.
Fyber's platform offered several products and solutions for advertisement purposes. It allowed app developers and digital publishers to create revenue streams through targeted advertising. Products offered on the platform included mediation, advertisement exchange, and advertisement servers to connect users to advertisement campaigns. Users of the platform could integrate, manage, and optimize their mobile advertisement revenue.
