Encavis AG is a Hamburg, Germany based renewable energy producer. They operate 177 solar parks and 70 wind parks with a total generation capacity in excess of 1.9 gigawatts across Germany, Denmark, France, Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and Spain.
Encavis also offers technical operations of solar parks and wind farms, such as routine maintenance, monitoring, incident management and performance analysis.
Encavis AG is the result of the merger of Capital Stage and CHORUS Clean Energy completed in 2017. The new entity was named Encavis AG in 2018. The name is broken into three parts where EN stands for energy, CA stands for capital, and VIS stands for vision, which Encavis says accompanies their mission.
Envacis, as Capital Stage, invested in Hyglos in August 2005. And in August 2019, Encavis acquired a 30% stake in Stern Energy.
Encavis exited their investment in Hyglos.
