Cognitev launched in Egypt in 2015 with the aim of democratizing digital marketing through a fully automated online traffic acquisition platform.
The company's first major product is InstaScaler, an AI-enabled automated advertising tool for small businesses and startups to get high quality visitors to their websites. InstaScaler enables companies to create and carry out full-scale advertising campaigns with minimal effort. Customers are asked to enter the website URL they want to drive traffic to and choose targeted locations to market in. The Cognitev software then scrapes website data from the provided URL, extracting images, text, meta data, keywords, and more which is used to automatically create ads for search engines, display adds (e.g. banners), and social media. Once created, the ads are published across multiple traffic sources including Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Bing, and hundreds of others. Once published, InstaMarket runs optimization and A/B testing of campaigns in order to determine which ads generate the best traffic. Once the best traffic sources have been identified, the under-performing sources are shut down and InstaScaler begins delivery traffic to the customer's website.
Cognitev has also developed a product called metaDSP which is extremely similar to InstaScaler but targets large enterprises instead of startups and small businesses. According to the metaDSP website, customers include Citibank, Samsung, Panasonic, Gillette, Tim Hortons, and 2,500+ other companies.
