San Francisco State University

From 2002 to 2004 Christina Brodbeck attended San Francisco State University where she completed a master's degree in instructional technologies with a concentration in multimedia design. Brodbeck also completed a multimedia design certificate course at San Francisco State University during 2001 to 2005.

Rivet Ventures

In 2013 Christina Brodbeck became a founding partner of Rivet Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on investing in women-led markets.


In September 2009 Christina Brodbeck co-founded Theicebreak, a website and mobile application for committed couples to gain a better understanding of each other through answering questions about their opinions, feelings, and thoughts.

As an Angel Investor since May 2009, Christina Brodbeck has invested in over twenty companies, including Matterport, Imgix, Mercury, Golden, Upverter, Cue, Heyzap, inDinero and Zesty.


From 2005 to May 2007 Christina Brodbeck worked on the founding team of YouTube as their first UI designer. During this time she used her 20% company allotted side project time to build a team, design, and launch YouTube Education. In May 2007 she became the lead designer for YouTube Mobile that made YouTube available as a mobile application. She Left YouTube in August 2009 to co-found Theicebreak.
