Vilicus Ventures

Vilicus Ventures manages an investment fund focused primarily on private equity investing in the software healthcare technology and IT sectors. Vilicus Ventures was formed to manage two separate venture capital funds and has since been reinvesting in new early stage companies.

Vilicus Ventures consist of partners Jon Otterstatter and Matt Otterstatter. Jon is also co-founder and president/CEO of Preventice, Inc., a mobile health care company. He is the managing partner at Vilicus Ventures, responsible for fund management and evaluation of new investments. Matt Otterstatter is a Kauffman Fellow, a network which has invested over over $6B in venture capital investments. He is also an educator in investment and entrepreneurship. Don Madson and Paul Friedman are also partners at the firm. Villicus ventures is located in Eagan, Minnesota and was founded in 2012.
