The Usher platform offers three primary features: SmartMail (email automation), a virtual customer assistant (AI powered customer service automation), and the Invisible App (a no-code customer interaction application).

Notable customers using Usher include Unum, HealthSpire, Shire, Atlassian, Plug and Play, Now, Irish Life, and GoDaddy.

Funding

Series A

On October 23, 2018 Usher announced raising $12 million in series A funding from 8VC (lead investor) and a few new and existing seed investors. The company also announced Pankaj Patel, the vice president and chief development officer of Cisco, and Bhaskar Ghosh, a parter and the CTO of 8VC, joined the board of directors of Usher, and David Moskowitz, the principal at 8VC, joining the board as an observer.

Series A II

On April 9, 2019 Usher announced expanding their series A funding round with an undisclosed amount of funding from Plug and Play.
