Tenstorrent is a Toronto-based artificial intelligence and machine learning technology company, founded by Ljubisa Bajic in February 2018. The company specializes in artificial intelligence architectures focused on scalable deep learning and adaptability.

Jim Keller, former Intel microprocessor architecture joined Tenstorrent as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on January 6, 2021. Keller is a well-known microprocessor engineer best known for his work at AMD and Apple.

Tenstorrent produces Grayskull, a high-performance AI processor. The processor contains an array of Tensix processing cores, each including a C++ programmable front-end, SIMD engine and matrix computation engine. Grayskull also includes a 120MB on-chip SRAM, 8 channels of LPDDR4 DRAM and 16 lanes of PCI-e Gen 4 host interface.
