Sidecar is also known as Side.cr is a transportation network, B2B on-demand delivery service, and news source company. It connects riders with riders for shared rides and discounted carpooling. It is building a transportation news source powered by everyday people.
Jahan Khanna, Sunil Paulo and David Johnson funded Sidecar in 2012 and based in San Francisco. It is backed by investors including Union Square Ventures, Avalon Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Google Ventures, and Sir Richard Branson.
