Proven Skincare is a company founded by Amy Zaoshi Yuan and Ming S. Zhao. The company has customers take a "Skin Genome Quiz" to determine their specific skin type and formulate the products to the individual customer. The Skin Genome Project, Proven Skincare's skincare database, won MIT's 2018 Artificial Intelligence Award and is claimed to be the most comprehensive skincare database ever created.

The skincare database contains information about specific skincare ingredients and how they affect different skincare types. The database includes:
