Plumerai

Plumerai is a technology company that designs and creates computer hardware and software which is meant to aid smaller electronic devices and machines with their ability to use deep learning and be autonomous.

The company's product does not use the traditional data centers for deep-learning; it uses binarized neural networks. Plumerai states that these types of networks allow for less power to be consumed and on less expensive devices. Plumerai uses reconfigurable logic modules for its software so that it is available to a wide variety of customers. The company is designing a chip for the module that is meant to run its algorithms efficiently. The product has been used on delivery robots and drones while using deep learning locally and in real-time.

Plumerai uses a variety of talent to develop their product. The talent holds positions such as development and operations engineer, deep learning scientist, and field programmable gate arrays developer. It has two offices and is planning to open a third in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
