Personetics Technologies is an artificial intelligence (AI) company for personalized banking experiences. It was founded in 2011 by David Sosna and David Govrin in Tel Aviv, Israel, but is now located in New York, New York. The company refers to its platform as a "self-driving finance platform."
The self-driving finance platform is composed of three products:
- Act (an automated and algorithm-based financial management tool)
- Engage (personalized financial guidance tool)
- Assist (AI and machine learning-powered chatbot)
Act is a financial management tool powered by algorithmic automation. The tool was developed to assist users in reaching their long-term financial goals. Act features an automated savings feature that uses AI to detect available funds and then transfers those funds to a savings account.
Additionally, the AI-based risk strategy tool can identify recurring income deposits and determine what portion of recurring paychecks is suitable for transfers to a savings account. The AI can also parse out funds into tax-advantaged savings accounts, like Roth IRA's or a traditional IRA account, to assist users with investing. It also assists in debt-reduction through automated transfers to and recommendations for prioritized credit accounts.
Act also provides its users with "smart budgets" or budgets developed to reduce unnecessary spending by assessing past purchases based on the purchase categorizations.
Engage is a personal finance management tool that provides insights and feedback for developing a healthy financial future. It is updated in real-time to help users avoid low account balances and keep accurate financial records.
Engage also analyzes user-specific data and develops "actionable" insights, or insights that the user can practically apply daily. It uses customer data over time to improve personalized recommended actions and captures customer feedback (likes, ratings, etc.) for the algorithms' continued development.
Banks can also utilize the engage tool to manage pre-built insights and develop new ones using the Personetics API framework.
Assist is an AI and machine learning-powered chatbot. Assist leverages natural language processing with a specialization for financial services. It uses predictive analytics to anticipate customer questions based on recent transaction data. The assistant can perform various tasks, including making payments, changing passwords, and setting up appointments.
