Perion is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that has a focus on advancing the development of Web3 as it pertains to gaming and eSports. It was founded in 2021 and is located in Melbourne, Australia. The company often focuses on growing its community and hosts in-person events. It also has brand ambassadors, such as professional basketball player Ben Simmons.

It has also invested in another DAO called Upside, which comprises industry experts from Australia. This investment came in the form of $50,000 worth of the DAO's native token. Perion is also investing in this DAO as an advisor for its portfolio companies.

The company has developed multiple platforms for sectors such as NFTs, gaming, and eSports. One of its platforms is a wagering platform, which is in beta testing. Another platform is called 02_STATE, and it has been developed as a center for no-code drops of NFTs backed by physical goods, such as merchandise.

Perion states it is focused on developing Web3 eSports tournaments. The prize pools in these tournaments vary from $10,000 all the way up to over $200,000.
