On February 13, 2018 Payfone announced raising $23 million in series F funding from Institutional Investor (lead investor), Synchrony Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, Jonathan Weiner, Anil D. Aggarwal, and Andrew Prozes. The company plans on using their series F funding to improve its cybersecurity and user experience in retail, insurance, and healthcare sectors.

Series G

On April 17, 2019 Payfone announced raising $24 million in series G funding from TansUnion (lead investor), Wellington Management, Synchrony Financial, and MassMutual Ventures.
