Opus Capital is a venture capital company that invests in early stage technology companies. Founded in Menlo Park, California by Carl Showalter and Gill Cogan in 2005, it also invests in seed and late stage ventures.
The firm has more than $1 billion under management and is effectively contributing its sixth fund. They have worked with more than 80 companies, including 50 IPOs. Their portfolio companies include Adaptec, Bridge Communications, DoubleClick, FedEx, Harmonic, Galileo, Informatica, Phone.com, QED and Vantive.
