ElectronicID is a software company offering a digital identification and e-signature service platform that is headquartered in Madrid, Spain and was founded in 2013 by Ivan Nabalon. ElectronicID's identity verification services can be used for account opening (online and offline), retail payments, online contracting, offline contracting, cash withdrawal form ATMs, accessing applications, second factor authentication, kiosk contracting, e-signatures, facility access, branch office contracting, customer queuing management, identity accreditation processes, and contactless customer onboarding.
The company offers three identity verification services which are VideoID, SmileID, and SignatureID.
VideoID is the face to machine customer identification service offered by ElectronicID and it is eIDAS certified. It is used for high security identification and is used in 41 countries (according to the company's website). The company claims their VideoID service can identify customers within 30 seconds with the help of artificial intelligence which helps increase videoconference conversion rates and prevent identity fraud. VideoID is compatible with desktop, mobile, ATMs, and Kiosks.
SmileID is the face biometric identity identification service offered by ElectronicID. It works by users using their smart devices with a camera to verify their identity through facial recognition. The company claims SmileID is 99.98% accurate by using liveness detection, video recording, anti-spoofing, and dynamic captcha.
SignatureID is the e-signature based identity verification service offered by ElectronicID. It is capable of adapting to each unique contracting case to satisfy risk and legal requirements by using grafo signatures, SMS, phone calls, face biometrics, and personal PINs. SignatureID has three levels of secure signatures which are the Simple Electronic Signature, Advanced Electronic Signature (AES), and the Qualified Electronic Signature (QES).

On November 18, 2016 ElectronicID announced raising an undisclosed amount of non-equity assistance funding from undisclosed investors.
On April 1, 2018 ElectronicID announced raising an undisclosed amount of series A funding from undisclosed investors.
