Nura (company)

Nura is a manufacturing company making headphones that adjust sound based on a users hearing that is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and was founded in 2015 by Dragan Petrovic, Kyle Slater, and Luke Campbell. Nura headphones analyze each users hearing from the outer ear to the brain using soundwave technology, and adjust audio settings based on the users ability to hear.

The Nura Headphones have both in-ear buds and over ear cups to delivery high and low tones separately and provide noise isolation. They also support the use of soundwave technology for customizing audio based on the unique hearing ability of each user.

Nuraloops headphones are earbud style wireless headphones with the same technologies present in the Nuraphone headphones that allow for audio customized for each user.

On July 14, 2018 Nura completed their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to help fund their Nuraphone in-ear and over-ear headphones with $1,803, 988 in funding from 7,730 backers. When Nura launched their Kickstarter campaign on May 15, 2016 the company was seeking to raise $100,000, but their campaign quickly grew to become the most successful Kickstarter campaign in Australia to date when the campaign finished on July 14, 2016.
