Moon is a platform that offers users a way to pay with cryptocurrency online with Visa cards. The company's platform possesses a browser extension that allows users to link their Coinbase account or other wallets in order to make transactions. Moon provides consumers with no-KYC virtual cards and an API for card issuance, allowing online retail customers to buy directly with virtual cards.

Moon Visa prepaid cards are meant to be used within sixty days of creation. When users do not spend the complete balance on a card, they can delete the card and get a credit to their Moon account for any unspent amount. The credit can then be used to purchase another card.

To use Moon, it is added to the browser, which includes a browser plugin. Users then purchase a virtual card with their Coinbase account or a Lightning wallet. The crypto is converted to USD and the card is then available to spend. The virtual cards can be used to pay in places that Visa cards are accepted in the US. The virtual card is a temporary digital payment card for online purchases and can be loaded with cryptocurrency.
