Mighty AI

Mighty AI is a company that provides training data to companies which use computer vision models for autonomous vehicles. The company was founded in 2014, by Daryn Nakhuda, Matt Shobe, Matthew Bencke, Patrick O'Donnell, in Seattle, Washington.

The platform that the company provides full-stack annotation software, consulting and managed services, proprietary machine learning, and a global community of qualified annotators. Mighty AI's develops computer vision that is capable of object localization and detection, full semantic segmentation, road and lane marking annotation, and metadata attribution and classification for automotive vehicles. The company also has a focus on robotics integrated with computer vision, especially those that navigate on sidewalks and offices.

Mighty AI's robotics computer vision can be found in warehouses, factories, and other industrial settings, and helps these entities process raw data to represent their assets, inventory, obstacles, machinery, and other items.

Uber acquired Mighty AI in June 2019 to expand their work on autonomous vehicle technologies. The goal for Uber is to introduce self-driving taxis in 2020.
